The Create block command is also available in the context menu.

The Block definition dialog box opened by the Create block command allows you to specify parameters for creating a new block or redefining the description of already existing block:

Names the block being created.

To redefine the existing block, select the name from the drop-down list.

The base point selection modes are mutually exclusive.

Enables/Disables the base point selection mode using the cursor on the screen after closing the dialog box.

Enables/Disables the base point selection mode at the center of the block. When this option is enabled, the block's base point will be set to the center of the bound—an imaginary rectangle that defines the dimensions of the selected objects.

Objects included in the block being created can be selected in advance, before opening the Create block command.
