CAD software Reset MText Formatting 4 Command line: REMOVEMTEXTFORMAT

This command resets the formatting of multiline text objects (MTEXT). It resets all settings applied to the text to the values of the text style the object belongs to.

Parameters being removed:

·          font;

·          style (bold, italic);

·          compression factor;

·          oblique angle;

·          character spacing;

·          font style (strikethrough, underline, overline);

·          color;

·          alignment;

·          line spacing.

The following parameters are not reset:

·          character height;

·          text case;

·          fractions;

·          superscript/subscript;

·          bullet and number options.

REMOVEMTEXTFORMAT command prompt

Description

Select MText objects or [?]

Select the multiline text objects on the screen for which you want to reset formatting. Press ENTER.

Objects can be pre-selected before running the command.

Selecting the ? option provides additional object selection options.

The command line displays the result:
