In Multiline Styles dialog you can create, edit, save and load styles.
The Multiline styles functional bar is intended to create, edit, load and save multiline styles. A multiline style is determined by the number of multiline elements and properties of each of them.

The appearance of the Multiline Styles functional bar
The top of the bar displays the name of the current multiline style, a multiline style search field, and the following buttons:

Add |
Creates a new multiline style based on the selected one. |

Delete |
Deletes the selected multiline style from the current document. |
|
|
Load |
Imports multiline styles into the current document. |
|
|
Save |
Saves the selected multiline styles to a file with the *.mln extension. |

|
New Multiline Parameters |
Controls the following parameters for new multilines: Scale – controls the multiline width; MLine justification – determines the position of the specified vertices of the multiline relative to the cursor (Top, Zero, Bottom). |
The list of multiline styles loaded in the current document is presented as a table with the following columns:

Displays and edits the name of the selected multiline style. |

Displays and edits brief information about the multiline style. |
The following commands are available in the context menu for performing operations with multiline styles:

Add |
Creates a new multiline style based on the selected one. |

Set current |
Sets the selected multiline style as the current style. |

Rename |
Edits the name of the selected multiline style. |

Change description |
Edits the text description of the selected multiline style. |

Delete |
Deletes selected multiline styles from the current document. |
|
Save |
Saves the selected multiline styles to a file with the *.mln extension. |

Select All |
Selects all multiline styles in the list. |
|
Unselect All |
Deselects all multiline styles selected in the list. |
The Preview and Editor sections are opened/closed when clicking
/
signs.
The Preview section contains a preview window for the multiline style. You can zoom in and out using the mouse wheel and the following buttons:
Zoom In;
Zoom Out; and
Zoom 1 X 1.
In the Editor section, you can configure the following multiline style parameters:
· the total number of elements and the position of each element;
· the offset distance from the multiline axis for each element;
· the color and line type of each element;
· the visibility symbols for line segments, called joints, at each vertex;
· the type of end constraints used;
· the fill color of the multiline background.

Creating and editing multiline elements and setting their properties

Add |
Creates a new element. |

Offset |
Sets the offset of the selected element from the multiline center. By default, elements are arranged in descending order. Elements with a positive offset are placed on one side of the multiline axis, while elements with a negative offset are placed on the other side |

Linetype |
Sets the element's linetype. |
|
Color |
Sets the element's color. The Select Color option opens the Select Color dialog box. |
|
Delete |
Deletes an element. |

Setting the end stop parameters

Start/End |
Sets an end stop for the start/end of a multiline. |
|
Line |
Displays a straight line segment at the end of a multiline. |
|
Outer arc |
Displays an arc between the outermost (outer) elements of a multiline. |
|
Inner arc
|
Displays an arc between pairs of inner elements. If the number of elements is odd, the central element is not included in the connection. For example, if a multiline consists of six elements, the inner arcs connect the second element to the fifth, and the third element to the fourth. If a multiline consists of seven elements, the inner arcs connect the second element to the sixth, and the third element to the fifth. Element 4 remains unconnected. |

Angle |
Sets the rotation angle of the end stops. |

Managing the display of background fill and multiline joints

Fill |
Sets the multiline background fill. |
|
Color |
Selects the background fill color for the multiline. The Select Color option opens the Select Color dialog box. |

Joints |
Sets the display of joints at the vertices of multiline segments. |
1. In the Multiline Styles bar, select the style you want to use to create the multiline, and click the
Add button. A style with the default name New_StyleN will appear in the list, where N is the number of the style being created, starting with 1. The new multiline style inherits all the settings of the selected one.
2. Create or edit the multiline elements and set the desired rendering parameters.
Multiline styles can be saved to a file with the *.mln extension. Multiple multiline styles can be saved in a single file.
1. Select the styles to save.
2. Click the
Save button.
3. In the Save Multiline Style Import dialog box, specify the file name and storage path. Click OK.
1. In the Multiline Styles bar, click the
Load button.
2. Specify the path to the file containing the multiline styles.
3. In the Load Multiline Styles dialog box, select the styles to load. Click OK.







. All newly created objects inherit the style set by the current one.
