CAD drafting Exporting Cloud Data to a Database 6 Command line: NPC_TO_DB

The command allows you to upload a point cloud from a drawing to a storage based on PostgreSQL DBMS. At the same time, depending on whether we upload the cloud for the first time, or upload the cloud previously downloaded from the same storage (provided that the Save connection with data parameter is set to Yes during import), either a full export will occur (the storage will be newly created for this point cloud), or the cloud metadata will be incrementally updated in the storage. Thus, the link to the DBMS created when importing from the storage allows you to save versions of the same cloud in the storage (without duplicating immutable data), creating a storage of processing stages.

Connection parameters for a command can be pre-configured using the connection bar, NPC_DB_CONFIG command, or requested directly in the command itself (in this case, the connection used will be saved in the connection bar automatically).

The command parameters allow you to select a storage.

Accepting the parameters will cause the import process to start immediately, the progress will be indicated by a progress indicator in the status bar of nanoCAD window. When finished, diagnostic information about the export process will be displayed in the command history window
