Move Section

       Ribbon: Point Clouds – Clip and Section >  Move Section

 Command line: PC_SECT_MOVE

 

The command moves any section (arbitrary, horizontal, vertical or UCS section) in the selected viewport stepwise forward or backward (in relation to the user). Step size is equal to the section depth. If there is no section in a view port, the command line shows the following message:

No section in active viewport

To move section:

       

1.      Specify a viewport with a result of any section (if there are several viewports).

2.      Start the Move section command.

3.      Move a section plane by keyboard arrows: UP (move forward) and DOWN (move backward).
