Classify by Source ID

CAD drafting Classify by Source ID 6 Command line: PC_CLS_SOURCE

A point can have Source ID attribute because the cloud can be created by registration of several point clouds that were get from different scanners. The command changes the Class attribute for point from scanner with selected number.

 

The command options are configured on the Properties bar.

Options:

Source classes

The existing classes that will be involved in the ground classification. Points of other classes are not subject to reclassification. The list opened by the CAD software Classify by Source ID 7 button displays all classes of the current point cloud.

Destination class

Destination class to be assigned to recognized points. The CAD drawing Classify by Source ID 8 button allows you to select class from the LAS classification list.

Source ID

Set the Source ID (ID of the scanner)

 

Command prompts:

Apply changes? <Yes> or [Yes/No/Save/saveDefault] <Yes>:

Yes – the command will be performed taking into account changes in the settings made by the user in the current session of the command work.

No – the command will be performed with the settings displayed immediately after running the command.

Save – saving settings to a document.

saveDefault – saving settings to the registry.
