Checking the Verticality of Tower Structures
Checking the Verticality of Tower Structures
Ribbon: Monitoring > Checking the Verticality of Tower Structures
Menu: Monitoring 3DScan > Checking the Verticality of Tower Structures
Toolbar: Monitoring 3DScan > Checking the Verticality of Tower Structures
Command line: PC_LIGHTNING_ROD_TILT
The command allows you to identify the magnitude of deviations of tower-type structures from the vertical and the base of the foundation.
In the dialog that appears, first set the direction of the x axis. To do this, the axis is captured with the right mouse button.
After selecting an axis, its direction is fixed with the Fix x-Axis Direction button. After this, the function of adding sections to the list becomes available.
The axis direction can be changed again using the Change x-Axis Direction button. After this, all saved sections will be reset.
The section height can be changed using a vertical slider. Width – using the Section Width field.
The section can be added using the Add Current Section to List button. It can be deleted using the context menu
or the Delete key on the keyboard.
When a section is selected, it is displayed in the preview and the slider moves to the appropriate height.
Sections in the list are sorted by height. The lowest one is considered the base one.
Adding a section below the base one makes the newly added section the base one and all coordinates are recalculated relative to the new base.
Similarly, when deleting a base section, the lowest of the remaining ones becomes the base section.
After adding at least two sections, the function of constructing sections with steps becomes available.
Sections are constructed between two extreme sections from the saved ones. All intermediate sections are pre-cleaned.
The constructed sections can be viewed, deleted and modified (for example, by manually constructing a circle in the selected section using three points if necessary).
If you save a section at the height of an existing one, this section will be overwritten.
To construct a circle manually using three points, you need to check the Select Manually box and select the points with the right mouse button.
The Discard button resets the selected points and (if any) the circle. Also, if a saved circle is currently displayed, this button resets it. Then in manual mode the preview remains empty, but in automatic mode an automatic circle is built.
If there are at least two sections in the list, the Create report button becomes available
When you click it, the dialog closes, the saved circles are added to the drawing, the drawing is rotated in accordance with the fixed direction of the x-axis, and a table with deviations for the saved sections is loaded into the drawing.
