The command for calculating volume of intersection of TIN (irregular triangulation network) and point clouds.

For the command to work the drawing should have point clouds, as well as objects SubDMesh or Polyface mesh, which can be obtained by the Create TIN command.

 

The command options are set in the Properties bar.

Options:

Volume

Total volume – calculates the total volume of soil displaced.

Differenced volume – separately calculates values of cut and covered soil masses.

Balance volume – difference between the cut and covered volumes.

Define contour

Yes – after applying the command parameters, you will need to specify a surface area in the drawing.

No - no contour indication is required, the volume (s) value will be calculated for the entire surface.

Create MText label in drawing

Yes – a label with volume value will be created.

No – the result will be displayed only in the command line.

Define font size

Relative to contour – size according to the grid or contour.

Fixed – fixed size.

On screen – manual size indication.

 

Command prompts:

Apply changes? <Yes> or [Yes/No/Save/saveDefault] <Yes>:

Yes – the command will be performed taking into account changes in the settings made by the user in the current session of the command work.

No – the command will be performed with the settings displayed immediately after running the command.

Save – saving settings to a document.

saveDefault – saving settings to the registry.
